At Vitality Therapeutic Massage & Yoga, LLC, we believe massage therapy supports the whole person: body, mind and spirit. We honor the many Global Healing Traditions and believe that creating health requires a multi-disciplinary approach. We also believe in evidence-based health practices and have a vested interest in public health for all.
We plan to continue with COVID-19 precautionary protocols to keep our clients and community as safe as possible; making every effort to stop the spread of COVID-19. We are following the public health measures of face mask-wearing, hand washing and social distancing.
At Vitality Therapeutic Massage & Yoga, LLC we support and direct our clients to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for up-to-date information, guidelines and recommendations. Inappropriate Behavior Policy - Respect massage therapy as healthcare
There is absolutely no sexual component to massage whatsoever. Inappropriate behaviors, remarks, jokes and or insinuations will absolutely result in a termination of the session and police report will be filed. Massage therapy is healthcare - licensed massage therapists are healthcare professionals.
Under no circumstances should conversation during the massage include anything inappropriate or sexual in nature.
Mandated Reporting Policy
It is important to note, that HIPAA law and professional ethics require this business to maintain confidentiality except for the following: inappropriate behavior during the massage session or messages with the licensed massage therapist, a valid suspicion of a threat to personal safety, that of a child or that of a vulnerable adult must be reported to the authorities, including Child Protection Services and law enforcement, depending on the information provided by you or collateral sources.
